Overview
VirutalShield is fully compatible with all modern computers, tablets, and mobile devices. We’ll also be adding support for even more devices soon. Simply choose your device below for more details.
Our mobile apps can be downloaded directly from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, and our desktop apps can be downloaded from our website. We support devices like Chromebook/Pixelbook and Amazon Kindle/Fire tablets as well.
If you don’t see your device listed below, it is likely you can still install VirtualShield. However, there are a few devices that are too old to run our official desktop/mobile apps. This page will help you determine whether your device is supported or not.

VirtualShield for Windows
Our is supported on
Microsoft Windows 7 and above. This includes Windows 8, 8.1, 10, and the new Windows 11.
If you can download and install other apps on your computer, then it is likely you can install VirtualShield as well.

Check your Windows version
How to determine which version of Windows you’re using:
Click the
Start button, type “winver” in the search box and press Enter.

Alternatively, you can pressWindows key + R on your keyboard.
A window will appear with detailed information about your
Windows Operating System, including the
version and the build/revision number.

Service Pack 1 is required on Windows 7 systems. See this Microsoft article for more info on how to check your Windows version.
Upgrade your Windows version
How to check for updates on your Windows computer:
Start by connecting to a power outlet, if your computer runs on battery.

Click the
Start button, type “update” in the search box and select Check for updates from the list of results.

If you don’t see the Check for updates option, select Windows Update.
Wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your computer.
That’s it! Once the update is complete, you can proceed to install VirtualShield.

VirtualShield for macOS
Our macOS desktop application is supported on macOS X 10.14 (Mojave) or later. This includes macOS 11 (Big Sur), 12 (Monterey), 13 (Ventura), 14 (Sonoma), and the new macOS 15 (Catalina). If you can download and install other apps on your computer, then it is likely you can install VirtualShield as well.

How to determine which version of macOS you’re using:
From the Apple menu near the corner of your screen, choose About This Mac.
A window will appear with detailed information about your macOS Operating System, including the version and revision number.

Upgrade your macOS version
How to check for updates on your Mac computer:
Start by connecting to a power outlet, if your computer runs on battery.
From the Apple menu near the corner of your screen, select System Settings.

If you don’t see the System Settings option, select System Preferences.
Select General in the sidebar, then click Software Update on the right.
Wait while Apple looks for the latest updates for your computer.
That’s it! Once the update is complete, you can proceed to install VirtualShield.

VirtualShield for iOS
Our iOS mobile application is supported on Apple iOS 13.0 or later. This includes iOS 14, 15, 16, and the new iOS 17. If you can download and install other apps from the Apple Store, then it is likely you can install VirtualShield as well.

Apple TV and Apple Watch is not supported at this time.
Check your iOS version
How to determine which version of iOS you’re using:
Open the Settings app on your Apple iPhone/iPad.

If you can’t find this icon,
ask Siri to open your Settings.
Navigate to General > About from the list of options.
You can also ask Siri to open your phone’s About screen.
A screen will appear with information about your iOS Operating System, including the version and revision number.

Our Android mobile application is supported on Google Android 7.0 or later. This includes Android 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and the new Android 14. If you can download and install other apps from the Google Play Store, then it is likely you can install VirtualShield as well.

Coming soon to Android TV and Amazon Fire Stick devices.

If you can’t find this icon, ask Google to open your Settings.
Navigate to System > Advanced > System update from the list of options.
If you don’t see the Advanced option, tap About phone.
A screen will appear with information about your Android Operating System, including the version and revision number.

Common Questions
My device is not listed above, what can I do?
If your device is not listed, don’t worry. VirtualShield will be coming to more devices very soon, including Android TV, Amazon Fire Stick/Fire TV and more.
My device is too old to run the app, what can I do?
If your device is incompatible, we strongly recommend upgrading your Operating System in order to be fully protected against the latest threats.
