Overview
If you see a shield icon near the corner of your web browser similar to the icon below, it means you installed one of our Chrome/Firefox/Opera extensions previously.
As of August 2023, our browser extensions have been deprecated. They are no longer available for download. We have a brand-new website and new apps for all devices, using a faster, more secure VPN technology. If you can see this icon, we strongly recommend removing the extension, and installing one of our desktop/mobile applications instead.
In addition, the extensions only protect what's inside of your browser. The app will protect and encrypt your entire internet connection. This includes all of your browsers, and all of the other apps/programs running on your computer.

Common Questions
Can I keep the extension installed on my computer?
You can, however it is not recommended. If you install the app and the extension at the same time they might interfere with each other, and cause connection issues.
Is this why I'm seeing an expired certificate error message?
Yes, the digital certificate for our browser extensions expired in August 2023. That's why the app is recommended. If you see any certificate errors in your browser, this is most likely the reason why.
