This article will instruct you on how to install and uninstall VirtualShield on all of your various desktop and mobile devices. Simply choose your device below to get started.
Our mobile apps can be downloaded directly from the Apple Store or Google Play Store, and our desktop apps can be downloaded from our website using the instructions provided below.

Install the Windows VPN
How to install VirtualShield VPN on your Windows computer:
Visit our Windows Download Page and click Download to get started. Alternatively, you can use this link and the file will begin to download automatically:
Microsoft Windows 7 or later is required. See our support article for more information.
Open the VirtualShieldSetup file you just downloaded to start the installation. This file should be located in your Downloads folder.
To find your Downloads folder, click the Start button, type downloads in the search box and press Enter.
You might be prompted to allow VirtualShield to make changes to your device. If so, click Yes to proceed.
The VPN Setup Wizard will now launch in a new window. Click the Install button to start the installation.
The wizard will now complete the installation. Click Finish when the installation is complete to launch the application.
Do not attempt to close the wizard or turn off/restart your device during this process.
That's it! You can now open VirtualShield VPN using the shield icon on your Desktop or Start menu, to log in and connect to our secure network.

Install the Windows Antivirus
How to install VirtualShield Antivirus on your Windows computer:
Start by visiting to your Account Dashboard. Select Apps from the navigation menu to download Antivirus protection for your specific device:

Open the VirtualShieldAntivirusSetup file you just downloaded to start the installation. This file should be located in your Downloads folder.
To find your Downloads folder, click the Start button, type downloads in the search box and press Enter.
You might be prompted to allow VirtualShield to make changes to your device. If so, click Yes to proceed.
The Antivirus Setup Wizard will now launch in a new window. Click the Install button to start the installation.
The wizard will now complete the installation. Click Finish when the installation is complete to launch the application.
Do not attempt to close the wizard or turn off/restart your device during this process.
That's it! You can now open VirtualShield Antivirus using the shield icon on your Desktop or Start menu, to activate protection for the very first time.

Uninstall the Windows application
How to remove VirtualShield from your Windows computer:
Click the Start button, type apps in the search box and press Enter.
You can also navigate to Start > All Apps > VirtualShield > Uninstall VirtualShield.
Find the VirtualShield or VirtualShield Antivirus app in this list, then choose Uninstall.
If you can't find this option, open your Settings app and then uninstall VirtualShield from the Apps category.
A message will appear asking you to confirm the uninstall/removal. Choose Yes to continue.
That's it! VirtualShield has been uninstalled successfully. You can follow the same steps above to repair or re-install the application on a different device.

You might be prompted to enter your credentials. If so, enter your computer's password then click Install Software.
The wizard will now complete the installation. Click Finish when the setup is complete to launch the application.
Do not attempt to close the wizard or turn off/restart your device during this process.
That's it! You can now open VirtualShield VPN using the shield icon in your Applications list or Launchpad, to log in and connect to our secure network.

Install the macOS Antivirus
How to install VirtualShield Antivirus on your Mac computer:

Uninstall the macOS application
How to remove VirtualShield from your Mac computer:
Open Finder in the Dock near the bottom of your screen, and select Applications from the sidebar.
You can also press Option + Command + Space on your keyboard.
Find the VirtualShield or VirtualShield Antivirus app, then Control-click the icon and select Move to Trash from the popup menu.
You may be prompted to enter your credentials. If so, enter your computer's password.
A message will appear asking you to confirm the uninstall/removal. Choose Move to Trash to continue.
That's it! VirtualShield has been uninstalled successfully. You can follow the same steps above to repair or re-install the application on a different device.

How to install VirtualShield VPN on your Apple iPhone/iPad:

Tap the Get button to start the installation. If iCloud is enabled on the device, it will look like a cloud shaped icon.
If you are prompted to unlock your device, enter your touch ID/passcode.
Once the installation is complete, this button will say Open. Tap it to launch the application.
That's it! You can now open VirtualShield VPN using the shield icon on your Home screen or App Library, to log in and connect to our secure network.

Uninstall the iOS application
How to remove VirtualShield from your Apple iPhone/iPad:
Open your Settings app. It looks like a gear shaped icon.
If you can't find this icon, ask Siri to open your Settings.
Navigate to General > iPhone/iPad Storage. A list of your installed apps will appear near the bottom of this screen.
Alternatively, you can swipe left past all of your Home screen pages to get to the App Library.
Find the VirtualShield app in this list, and then tap Delete App.
Removing an app from the Home screen keeps the app installed on the device, while deleting it removes the app and all of its data. See this Apple article for more information.
That's it! VirtualShield has been uninstalled successfully. You can follow the same steps above to repair or re-install the application on a different device.

Uninstall the Android application
How to remove VirtualShield from your Android phone/tablet:
Open your Settings app. It looks like a gear or a wrench shaped icon.
If you can't find this icon, ask Google to open your Settings.
Select Apps & notifications from the list of available options.
It may be labeled Applications or Installed Apps, depending on the make and model of your device.
Find the VirtualShield or VirtualShield Antivirus app in this list, then tap it to open the App info screen.
Tap the Uninstall button. A message will appear asking if you want to uninstall the application. Choose OK to continue.
You can also press and hold the shield icon on your Home screen, and choose Uninstall from the popup menu.
That's it! VirtualShield has been uninstalled successfully. You can follow the same steps above to repair or re-install the application on a different device.

Common Questions
Google Play is not supported on my device, what can I do?
If your device lacks access to the Google Play Store, it is likely that you can still use VirtualShield VPN, but you will need to install it manually. See our support article for more information.
My device is too old to run the app, what can I do?
If your device is incompatible, we strongly recommend upgrading your Operating System in order to be fully protected against the latest threats.
Can I install the Antivirus on my iPhone/iPad?
iOS devices are not supported at this time, due to a restriction by Apple. It is not related to VirtualShield in particular. However, our exclusive Ad & Malware Blocking service works on all devices, including iPhone/iPad.
