How to Monitor your USPS Address

Overview

IdentiSafe uses a sophisticated Very Early Warning System to monitor private and public databases for signs of early identity theft and ID Theft Risk.

USPS Address Monitoring

Add your postal address so that we can monitor it for change of address requests. This happens when someone requests an official change of address with the United States Postal Service.

This can be dangerous because if the change of address is successful, your personal and important mail can be re-routed to a different address. Receive bank or mortgage statements in the mail? Now imagine if those got into the wrong hands.

USPS Address Monitoring is limited to the primary account holder. We can only monitor one address at a time.

1

Start by logging in to your online Account Dashboard.

This feature is only available with our VPN Plus or VS One plans. If you have a basic VPN subscription, some of the relevant options may not appear.
2

Choose Identity Security from the main menu and activate your protection, if you have not done so already.

For more help activating Identity Theft protection, see our support article.
3

Press the Manage IdentiSafe button. You will be redirected to your IdentiSafe Dashboard.

This is where you can monitor and track your Credit Score, set up SMS Text Alerts, and more.
4

Select the Identity Monitoring tab, then choose Postal Address from the drop-down menu.

5

Type your postal address in the boxes provided, then press Add.

6

That's it! You will be notified on your Dashboard if we find any breaches.
