How to Monitor your USPS Address

Overview

VirtualShield uses a sophisticated Very Early Warning System to monitor private and public databases for signs of early identity theft and ID theft risk. After adding you and your family’s information, you can safely shop online and use social media knowing your identity is fully secure against breaches.

In the event that your information appears compromised, we will immediately alert you on your Account Dashboard and via SMS/text message along with instructions on how to protect yourself. If identity theft does happen, our Identity Restoration Team will handle the entire recovery process for you.

How does it work?

By adding your Postal address we can monitor it for change of address requests. We help catch unauthorized changes to your current or past addresses by monitoring the National Change of Address (NCOA) database and U.S. postal records. If a change occurs, we alert you the moment it happens.

This happens when someone requests a change of address with the United States Postal Service (USPS). It can be dangerous because if successful, your important mail can be re-routed to a different address. Just imagine if your bank or mortgage statements got into the wrong hands.

We can monitor up to 10 addresses at the same time to protect your entire household against identity theft, in addition to your own.
