How does it work?
All of our VPN plans have been updated to be user-based rather than device based. This means each user can have unlimited devices*, and additional users can be added to each of our new plans.
The same concept applies to our . However, the Individual and Family plans have been discontinued. Our new plans are strongly recommended for the highest level of security, at the lowest overall price.

After enabling 2-factor authentication (coming soon!) you get unlimited devices. Otherwise you will be limited to 5 devices.
Why is it important?
While we understand that sharing accounts and passwords is very easy, it is not the most secure sharing solution. As you already know, sharing your password can lead to dangerous consequences.
If your credentials end up in the wrong hands, they can lock you out of your account or gain access to your personal information. You don’t want anyone to access your sensitive data without your permission.

To combat this problem, we now offer affordable plans where every user can have their own unique username (email address) and password, along with unlimited devices.
Which plan do I choose?
It doesn’t matter which plan you choose! Our new plans all work the
exact same way. They are designed to be single-user accounts by default, and additional users can be added using an add-on.
This allows you to add as few or as many extra users as you’d prefer. You are no longer restricted to 5 users. Additionally, our new plans allow you to bundle multiple security services together, for a lower price.

If you don’t see this option, you may have exceeded the number of users for your plan. See our for more info on how to add additional users to your plan. Can I share my password with friends and family?
Technically speaking you can, but it is not recommended. The entire purpose of a VPN is to keep your personal and private data secure and out of the wrong hands. Sharing your password can be unsafe and completely defeats this purpose.
When you share your password with someone else, you might be giving your friends and family access to your other accounts without even knowing it.

That’s why using a secure password is so important. Hackers use malicious tools tosteal/crack passwords that contain common letters, numbers, or phrases.
