Your primary email address is used to access your online
Account Dashboard on our website. It is also used to log in and connect to our
secure VPN network on all of your various devices.
If your credentials end up in the wrong hands, they can lock you out of your account and gain access to your personal data. You could be giving others access to your other accounts without even knowing it.
That’s why it is so important to use a strong password, and
never share your credentials with anyone. To safely share protection with friends & family, you can add additional users to your account.

Changing your Email Address
You can change your email address anytime if you feel it’s been compromised, or if you no longer have access to your previous email account. It never hurts to ensure your accounts remain secure.
Changing your email address is very easy, simply follow the instructions below. If you don’t know your password, you will need to Reset your Password first. See our
support article for more information.
How to Change your VirtualShield Email Address:
Start by visiting your
Account Dashboard. Select
Settings from the navigation menu, or use the link below:

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can use this link to reset it. A secure Password Reset link will be sent to your email. See oursupport article for more information.
Below Email on the right, press the Change Email button.

Enter your new email address, then press Request Confirmation Email.

You will receive a confirmation email so you can verify you are the account owner.
Check your inbox for the confirmation email to verify your new email address. Once you do, it will be automatically updated in your account.

You may need to log back in to theVirtualShield VPN app on your device(s) using your new email address.

My email address is not working, what can I do?
Before attempting to change your email address, try to Reset your Password first. If that doesn’t work, contact our support team for further assistance.
I still can’t access my account, what now?
Our support team can send a new system-generated password, once you have verified you are the account owner. Alternatively, you can schedule a call and our support representatives can help you change your email address.
