Resetting your Password

Overview

Your password is used to access your online Account Dashboard on our website. It is also used to log in and connect to our secure VPN network on all of your various devices.

Without your password, you will be unable to log in and connect to our network. It is important to use a strong password to keep your account secure, but not so strong that you can’t remember it.


Resetting your Password

If you’ve forgotten your password, there’s no need to worry! You can follow the simple steps below to reset it, and a secure Password Reset link will be sent to your email address.

The following instructions assume that you don’t know your existing password, and are unable to log in. If you already know your password, you can Change your Password instead.

How to Reset your VirtualShield Password:

Open VirtualShield VPN and press the Forgot password button, or visit this link on your computer or mobile device:

If you are already logged in you can log out first, or you can follow the steps in this article to change your password.

Enter the primary email address associated with your account, then press Continue.

If your email address is valid, you will see a confirmation message. Check your inbox for instructions on how to reset your password.

Press the Reset Password button in the confirmation email. You will be taken to a secure page to enter a new password.

If the Reset Password button doesn’t work, you will also see a link/URL you can paste in your web browser.

Enter a new password then press Continue. You will be automatically logged in to your Account Dashboard.

Don’t forget to use a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols to ensure a strong password!

Common Questions

Why didn’t I receive the password reset email?
The first thing we recommend is checking your junk/spam folder, it may have been transferred to the wrong inbox by mistake. If you still can’t find it, contact our support team for assistance.
I still can’t access my account, what now?
Our support team can send a new system-generated password, once you have verified you are the account owner. Alternatively, you can Schedule a Call and our support representatives can help you change your email address.
