Overview
This option allows you to remain connected to the VPN when your device goes to sleep. This adds another additional layer of security, by preventing any private information from leaking out across your public network without your knowledge or permission.
This setting is disabled by default, you must enable it yourself. It can be useful if your device is running behind a
firewall or NAT (Network Address Translation), or if you would like to stay connected to our network at all times.

Windows
Typically when your device enters Sleep/Hibernation mode you will lose
internet access, subsequently breaking the
VPN connection and exposing your location when it
wakes up again.
If you don’t enable the Keep Alive on Sleep or the option, you will need to re-connect to the VPN manually in order to remain protected.
Just be aware this can impact battery life. If your device is low on battery, we recommend disabling this option to help reducepower consumption.
