Hide VirtualShield VPN to Tray/Dock

Overview

When you close or hide VirtualShield VPN, it will continue protecting you in the background, allowing you to surf the web and use your computer or tablet just as you would normally.

This allows you to keep your system protected at all times. Otherwise, closing the app will exit the software, instead of hiding it. We recommend leaving this option enabled in order to be fully protected.

If you can't find the app on your computer, it might be running in the background. To open it again, look for the  shield icon in the Notification area next to your clock.

It will appear with a  green circle when the VPN is active. If you see this icon, you can surf the web with full privacy while being protected by our state of the art network.

If you don't see it, click the  up arrow next to your clock to Show hidden icons. You can open the app from here, or from the shortcut on your Desktop/Start menu.
