How to automate Scheduled Scans

Overview

Scheduled scans will continually performQuick, Deep, or Custom Scan in the background at regular intervals. These scans will run on a daily or weekly basis, at any given date/time of your choice.

You can fully customize exactly how and when you would like scheduled scans to occur. Alternatively, you can disable scheduled scans entirely if you would prefer to manually scan your device instead.

Windows

By default, VirtualShield Antivirus will schedule a Deep Scan to be performed once a week. You can also customize the type of scan to perform, and how frequently these scans will occur.

We recommend scheduling scans in the early morning or in the late evening, so it does not interfere with your daily work or regular device usage.
