Overview
Scheduled Scans will continually perform a Quick, Deep, or Custom Scan in the background on a
daily or weekly basis, at any given date/time of your choice.
You can fully customize when you would like Scheduled Scans to occur. Alternatively, you can disable Scheduled Scans entirely if you would prefer to scan your device manually instead.
Windows
By default,
will automatically schedule a to be performed on a weekly basis.You can also automate these scans to occur more or less frequently, or you can disable scheduled scans entirely if you would prefer to scan your device manually instead.

We recommend scheduling scans in theearly morning or in the late evening, so they do not interfere with your daily work or your regular device usage.

How to automate Scheduled Scans on your Windows computer:
Open VirtualShield Antivirus and , if you have not done so already.
For more help getting started with the Antivirus, see our
.Click the Scheduled scans icon on the Home/Status screen.
You can add or remove Scheduled Scans from this screen, and adjust the time when you would like these scans to occur.
To disable Scheduled Scans entirely, check all of the boxes and set the Status to Disabled.
macOS

You can add and remove Scheduled Scans from this screen, and adjust the time when you would like these scans to occur.
To disable Scheduled Scans entirely, un-check all of the boxes beside each day of the week.
Common Questions
Can I schedule multiple scans per day?
On Windows/Mac computers, you can schedule different types of scans to occur multiple times daily. On Android devices, you can only schedule scans once per-day. You can also open the app at any time to scan your device manually.
Do I need to Schedule Scans to be protected?
No, automating Scheduled Scans is entirely optional. It is not required in order to be protected. As long as Active Protection (AP) is enabled on the device, you will be fully protected against viruses, trojans, rootkits, and more.
