The VirtualShield desktop application will display helpful tips each time you hover your mouse cursor over the various buttons and controls. If you're new or unfamiliar with the application, these tips will help you learn all of the different functions and utilities available.
This allows you to quickly learn how to use the application, by simply moving your mouse cursor. Info tips will also display detailed information when you navigate through each of the various options in the Settings panel.
You can also choose to disable this option if you would prefer not to see any popup messages.

Linux (Coming soon)
Our new Linux app is not yet available, but it will be coming soon to both Debian and Arch based platforms. Don't hesitate to contact us and we'll be more than happy to notify you via email when the new Linux app is available for download.
In the meanwhile, you can install our Legacy Linux application instead. That will allow you to stay protected until the new version of our Linux app becomes available.
The Legacy Linux application is only compatible with Debian-based systems at this time.
Does it make a difference if I disable this option?
