Overview
If your device is having trouble connecting to the internet or establishing the VPN connection, your network settings might be the culprit. Your network settings control what your device can connect to and how.
Resetting these settings to their default values will likely help you connect again. This mostly applies to Wi-Fi connections. However, corrupted or invalid network settings can affect Ethernet, Bluetooth, or even Cellular data/LTE networks.
Windows
If you're using Wi-Fi and you are unable to connect, there might be a problem with your network settings. These settings can sometimes become corrupted/outdated, and interfere with VPN connections.
Luckily, you can reset your network settings at any time. This won't delete any of your apps, photos, or other data. However, it will erase your saved Wi-Fi passwords, and other connection information.
It is not necessary to reset your network settings unless things are not working properly, or you are instructed to do so by our support team.
