Moving to the New Platform


At VirtualShield, we pride ourselves on offering you the best protection at an affordable price. In order to offer you the best protection, we need to be constantly evolving, updating, and using the latest technologies.

For the past 2 years we have been hard at work building a new platform that will power our products for years to come. It will allow us to expand our areas of protection, while also improving our existing services.

A Retrospective

While we look forward to the new year, we can also look back on a wild 2021. In the world of cyber security, there have been many new types of threats, censorship, and even attacks on freedom of speech.

As these new threats evolve, it's necessary that we evolve as well in order to do our job — provide you with safe and unrestricted access to the open internet. Our new platform allows us to do this and much more.

Having trouble accessing your account?

To make sure your accounts are secure, we are going to require you set a new password to access the new platform. This will be a one time change, and while we do apologize for the inconvenience, we promise you it will be worth it in the long run.

Starting Monday, January 10th, you will need to reset your password to access the new platform. So if you are having login issues and you have not yet reset your password, this is most likely the reason why. See our support article for more information.

Common Questions

Do I need to do anything else besides resetting my password?
No, at this time you can continue using all of our apps just as you would normally. However we recommend upgrading to our new apps as soon as possible in order to be fully protected.
What do I do if I can't access my email?
If you are unable to access your email, contact our support team and provide the last 4 digits of your payment method on file, and we can help you reset your password.
