If you reside in a country/region such as China, Cuba, or Myanmar, you may be unable to access or purchase apps directly from the Google Play Store.
Manual Setup
If your device lacks access to the Google Play Store, you can still use the VirtualShield Android application, but you'll need to download and install the file manually.

Before you can install VirtualShield, you will need to make sure that
third-party apps are
allowed on your device:
- Open your device's Settings app. It looks like a cog/gear or a wrench shaped icon:
- Scroll down and tap Security & fingerprint. It may be labeled Lock Screen & Security.
- Turn on the Unknown Sources option to allow your device to install apps from sources other than the Google Play Store:
Tip: Android version 8.0 and above does things a little differently. Rather than checking a global setting to allow installation from Unknown Sources, you'll be prompted to allow your browser or file manager to install APKs the first time you attempt to do so. - Open your device's Settings app. It looks like a cog/gear or a wrench shaped icon:

Next, visit the link below to download the VirtualShield installer to your device:
https://downloads.virtualshieldcdn.com/apps/android/VirtualShield.apk

Find the
VirtualShield.apk file in the location where it was downloaded.
Tap it, then hit the
Install button.

Congratulations, VirtualShield is now installed on your device. It can be accessed from your device's
Home screen or
App drawer, alongside your other apps.
