Uninstall the Linux Application

This article will instruct you on how to uninstall the VirtualShield application from your Linux laptop or desktop computer.

VirtualShield Linux Removal

Removing VirtualShield from your Linux computer couldn't be any easier.
Simply follow the instructions provided below:

Open your Linux Terminal.

Tip: To open the Terminal, press Ctrl+Alt+T on your keyboard or go to Applications > Accessories > Terminal.
Launch the app removal script by typing or pasting the command below into the Terminal:

sudo apt-get remove virtualshield

When you are prompted to continue, type Y, then press the Enter key.

Note: You will be required to enter your computer's Administrator/SuperUser password.
Wait for uninstall process to complete. Do not attempt to close the Linux Terminal during this process.

That's it! VirtualShield has been uninstalled successfully.
