Can I use VirtualShield on my PS4/Xbox One?

There are two different ways to set up a VPN on a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One device, through your router or through your computer.

VirtualShield does not support installation on routers at this time. However, you can set it up on your PC or Mac computer and then connect to your PS4 or Xbox using an Ethernet cable.

PS4/Xbox One Setup

Running your PS4/Xbox One through your PC’s VPN connection requires that your PC have two network adapters — one for the internet, and a second for the console.

Laptops typically have both a wireless and a wired adapter, but desktop PCs vary more, especially if they were home-built. If you don’t have two network adapters ready when you begin the process, some of the relevant configuration options may not appear.
