How to increase your connection timeout (Android)
If you're using public WiFi or if you have a slow internet connection, it may take a bit longer to establish the VPN connection than usual.
To alleviate this, you can increase the duration the app will attempt to connect. This article will instruct you on how to increase your connection timeout.
Connection Timeout
In most cases you don't need to adjust this option. We only recommend changing this value if you're having trouble connecting using the default value (5 seconds).

Open the
VirtualShield Android application.

Tap the
cog/gear icon near the
corner of the app to open the
Settings panel:

Inside the
Settings, select
Advanced Settings.

Increase the
Connection timeout option to
60 seconds, and then
save your Settings:
