How to use Application Guard (Windows)
The Application Guard feature will terminate specific programs of your choice each time you become disconnected from the VPN.
App Guard helps protect your system by shutting down applications that may leak private data across your public network without your knowledge.
Application Guard
This allows VirtualShield to terminate an application automatically if the VPN connection is lost, regardless if you disconnect manually or not.
This feature is entirely optional, and can be enabled or disabled at any time:

Open the
VirtualShield Windows application from the icon on your
Desktop:
Tip: If you can't find this icon, navigate to Start > All Apps/Programs > VirtualShield. - 2

Click the
cog/gear icon near the
corner of the app to open the
Settings panel:

Select the
App Guard tab near the
top of this screen.

Click
Add new Application... to add an app to the list of
Programs to be terminated:

Locate the program's
executable
(.exe) file on your computer, then choose
Open.

Save button to
apply your changes.
