Connecting to the VirtualShield network (All Apps)

Once you've logged in to the VirtualShield application or browser extension, connecting to our secure network only takes one simple step.

This article will walk you through how to sign in to your account, and connect to the VPN on all of your various devices.

Logging In (First-time setup)

Before you can connect, the first step is to sign in to your account. Follow the instructions below to get started:

Open the VirtualShield application or extension on your favorite device.
This icon may look slightly different depending on the device you're using:

You might be presented with 2 options, Sign In and Sign Up.

If you already have an active account or trial with us, press Sign In.
Otherwise, press Sign Up or click here to get started with your 30-day free trial:

Enter your account credentials, then press Sign In to access your account.

Tip: You will remain signed in permanently, until you choose to sign out again by pressing the door shaped icon.

Connecting to VirtualShield

After signing in, you will be directed to the home screen. From now on, the app will automatically launch to this screen. This is where you can connect and disconnect from the VirtualShield network:

From here, it's as simple as pressing the Connect button.
Give the application a few seconds to connect. Once you are successfully connected, you will see a green shield icon, as seen below:

That's it! You are now connected to VirtualShield. Your internet connection is encrypted and secure.

Note: By default, you will be connected you to the server closest to your actual location.

Verify your Protection

Once you're connected, you can verify your Protection Status at any time using the link below. This link will work on all of your various devices, computers, tablets, smart phones, and more:
