Install the Opera Extension

This article will instruct you on how to download and install the VirtualShield extension for your Opera browser.
This tutorial works with Firefox on Windows, Mac, Linux, and more.
Note: If you already have our Windows or macOS app installed and working, you do not need this extension. The desktop application will protect all of your browsers, including Opera.

VirtualShield Opera Setup

Follow the instructions below to install our Opera browser extension. Once it's installed, it will appear near the corner of your browser, alongside your other extensions.

Note: If you don't have the Opera browser, download and install it from Opera's website:
Open Opera, and then click this link to begin the installation process:

Tip: Open this link inside of Opera, or copy and paste the link into your Opera browser.
You will now see a screen that looks like the image below.
Click the Add to Opera button:
This button will display Installed once the installation is complete:
That's it! VirtualShield is now added to your Opera browser.
You can access it using the shield icon near the right-hand side of your address bar:
